General Information

Oakwood is like a home away from home! Every day can be like a vacation day where you can play nine holes of golf in less than two hours, have a drink or two on the deck with friends and then play another round. Oakwood is an informal private club with a roster target of 70 members where you can make new friends and spend time with old friends. Membership entitles you to unlimited golf for the season at no additional charge, and many members own their own cart. Additionally, members are always welcome to bring guests to share the Oakwood experience.

Our nine hole golf course has six par-three and 3 par-four holes. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that its length is ideal for beginning golfers, but its layout can challenge the best of golfers.

Oakwood, known as a "Family of Friends", is an organization where everyone participates. Under the direction of the Social and Golf committees, our members plan and enjoy an event-filled season. We usually have an elaborate "themed" party each month with informal get-togethers and/or golf events on other weekends. As a golf and social club, there are no tennis courts, volleyball courts or pools.

Oakwood does not charge a monthly bar or restaurant fee. Members supply their own alcoholic beverages and the club supplies the mixes. The cost to attend the parties is modest and is on an at-cost basis.
